People respond to the sense of smell on an emotional level more strongly than any other sense.
Aromatherapy utilises the properties of essential oils to assist the body’s own natural healing processes and enhance wellbeing.
Essential oils consist of concentrated herb and plant extracts and each one has its own therapeutic properties.
Using a blend of essential oils specifically chosen for each client, these are applied to the body during a massage and are absorbed into the blood stream and circulated around the body.
Liata Therapies can provide a gentle massage to sooth away the stress or a deeper massage to untie the knots – whatever your body needs at the time.
During the treatment, towels are used to cover the parts that are not being massaged to maintain modesty and to keep the client warm (a cold client finds it very hard to relax).
Clients have stated that they have felt deeply relaxed, energised and refreshed after a massage.
